How to Make Yourself Approachable

Wedding Bells will never break up that old gang of yours as long as you continue to travel in a pack! Women: You may be a one-in-a-million find, but few men are willing to wend their way past even a few of your closest friends to find you! And Men-before you join that he-man huddle in the corner of the room, remember: No woman is likely to rush a defensive line of your best buddies.

There may be safety in numbers, but safety is a poor substitute for an active social life. The next time you’re invited to a party or an event, take the risk and go it alone. You may discover that flying solo is not as daunting as you’ve imagined. Or, if you really can’t face the thought of socializing by yourself, arrange with your friends to separate for an hour or so. That will give any admirers an opportunity to approach without having to “play to an audience,” or infiltrate your entourage.
